Preprinted Birds phase 3 FINAL - on watercolor paper

Ok! I'm finished with the first 5 prototypes/examples for how I zentangled and painted the birds.  These are just examples of what I did with the blank outlines of the birds.  How do you think you would fill them in?

Preprinted birds phase 2 - on watercolor paper

My last post showed the simple outline drawings of birds on watercolor paper.  My intention was to draw zentangled designs inside the contour and then paint in color with watercolor since I am in-fact using watercolor paper.

Here are the updated images without color painted into them yet.

Preprinted birds phase 1 - on watercolor paper

I have started my first phase of preprinted watercolor sheets.  I drew these contour shapes from photographs of birds.  My intention is to fill each contour with zentangle designs and then colorize them with watercolor.  My inspiration has been Iveta Abolina, she is an art director, designer, illustrator, artist, etc.  Some of her work is shown on http://onesweetorange.com/. 

I will post updated imagery as soon as I can knock them out.  This should be fun!
